“I’m really happy to recommend Ebike Sussex. We’re two mature individuals who are relatively new to Ebiking, we’ve just bought two entry-level full suspension bikes, and we’re very pleased with all aspects of the purchase, preparation and ownership processes. We chose Ebike Sussex because I was initially impressed by Richard’s informative and matter of fact videos. These helped us to have a clearer idea of what we wanted, and – above all – made me feel that we could trust Ebike Sussex. A first visit to the store then really helped to narrow our options down to what we wanted. We liked Nick’s straightforward advice, his realism about supply, and his believable assessment of our likely capabilities. He took time to answer all of our queries about sizing, fitting, purchase, storage, etc – and so it was easy to make a final choice. We really liked being able to secure the bikes with affordable deposits while we sorted out our finances. The bikes were very well prepared, exactly as specified, and we were very well briefed on all aspects of ownership, use and maintenance. In conclusion, we’re completely satisfied. “After cycling for many years I have recently bought an Haibike nduro from Richard at Ebikes Shoreham, having done the rounds at several shops and online, I went to see Richard and found him very helpful, and explaining everything I needed to know, good selection of bikes, and good coffee served up by his dad, they both make you feel very welcome, and there is no pressure to make you buy. I wasted my time looking around other places, if your looking for an Ebike go and see Richard, you won’t get a better service.”

`An absolute class act. When another major chain company had let me down and very badly, and dangerously, assembled my e-bike, Richard and his Dad were just superb. They built me a whole new back wheel and brought back to life a bike that this well-known chain stockist had nearly ruined and then refused to help me with. I cannot speak highly enough of the service and advice I received from e Bike Sussex. They are true craftsmen and I would thoroughly, and without any hesitation, recommend then to anyone with any questions/issues to do with e-bikes. When in doubt, go to the professionals.`

“Hi Richard, Many thanks for all your advise with regard to my purchase of the SDuro Trekking 5.0 from you last Wednesday. You may have detected my apprehension with regard to the sizing. Even with your reassurance I was still apprehensive right up until the time I saw the bike. You were right and I shouldn’t have doubted your technical knowledge but having not met each other and being an old sceptic I wondered if this could have been more salesmanship than anything else. How wrong was I! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone interested in buying a decent e-bike to contact E-bikes Sussex. I am over the moon with my purchase and for all the help you gave me.
On another note I was a bit concerned about going from conventional to electric thinking that my level of fitness would drop as I had heard that riding an ebike with the motor off was pretty gruelling. Too heavy, too slow, etc.etc. How wrong was I. Don’t get me wrong, the bike doesn’t turn into a Chris Frome Time Trialer but for, let’s say a more senior enthusiast, it is like a standard tourer and I can ride it unassisted with no problem. It’s just nice to know that when the going gets tough.(too much of an incline/too strong a head wind) you can revert to power assist.
A decision that I was dubious about has turned into one of the best decisions in my cycling life which I made with the help of Richard at E-bikes Sussex. Richard, I fight shy of all Social Media and so am struggling to give a review of you and your business but if there is anything in the above message which I have sent with sincerity please feel free to post it.

“Just had my bike serviced by Richard for the first time and I’m very happy with the work done and my bike is riding like a dream now. I like to ride 200+ miles a week so I was also very happy with the quick turnaround time to get my bike back on the road. The 2 year servicing plan is great value and I feel very well looked after, with a lot of free and knowledgeable advice on how to best look after my road bike. “Fantastic shop – Richard spent hours with me over several visits discussing the pros and cons of e-bikes and I never once felt pressured. “I don’t normally write a review as it’s not my thing but the service I have received in this shop is second to none. I have purchased 3 bikes from this shop over the years, one for me, my wife and for my daughter. Whenever I need advise I know I can go to them and they will let me know exactly what’s needed. They always ask if I would like a coffee when I walk in which is a nice touch. The knowledge the two guys in the shop is unbelievable and there is never any pressure to buy from them. I have been very happy with all three bikes and never had any problems. I like the fact that it’s a family run business which I feel helps as they seem to care about the customer service aspect.
